Disclosure
How this site is funded — and what we turn down
Current status: no affiliate or advertising relationships. As of October 2026, Safe Gold IRA receives no compensation from any gold IRA company, dealer, custodian, or depository. No page contains affiliate links. When that changes, this page will name the arrangement before any compensated link appears anywhere on the site.
FTC disclosure (when compensation exists)
In the future, this site may accept compensation when readers act on referrals — for example, when a reader contacts a custodian through a link. In that event the FTC-required notice will appear here and at the top of the affected page: "We may receive compensation when you open an account with or purchase from companies we link to. Compensation does not influence our guides' statements of fact or our sources."
Editorial independence
- Facts are sourced to public records (SEC, CFTC, FTC, Tax Court, IRS); no company payment can change a sourced fact.
- The desk names no dealer as a recommendation and sells no rankings; it describes verifiable checks — written fee schedules, regulator lookups, dated complaint records — rather than endorsements.
- Negative findings are reported from regulators' own documents, labeled by their procedural stage (complaint, charge, judgment), and stay published.
- A company that believes a page misreads the record has the same correction channel as any reader: the contact page. Verified corrections are published and credited.
Government affiliation
Safe Gold IRA is an independent publication. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the Federal Trade Commission, the Internal Revenue Service, or any other government agency. Agency names, releases, and rules are cited descriptively as public records, not as any endorsement or official status.
Not professional advice
Nothing on this site is tax, legal, or investment advice, and no attorney-client or fiduciary relationship is created by reading it. Guides explain public records and published rules; your specific situation — tax bracket, account record, a contract you have been handed — is a question for a qualified CPA, enrolled agent, or attorney.
